Instructors
Our instructors are always open to suggestion, and always willing to lend a hand. They are the backbone of the club. Obedience Departments The DTCT is blessed with some of the highest caliber instructors in the area. All have trained their dog through to a CGC and many have attained multiple titles on multiple dogs with breeds from every AKC Group. Some of our instructors are members of APDT and are NADOI Endorsed. Many of our instructors have attained the following titles: CD (Companion Dog), CDX (Companion Dog Excellent), UD (Utility Dog) & UDX (Utility Dog Excellent). In addition many compete in obedience in other venues as well including UKC & WWKC. Agility Departments DTCT has one of the finest Agility Departments around. All Intro & Beginning Agility instructors have titled their dogs through an NA & NAJ title (Novice Agility & Novice Agility Jumpers). The Intermediate and Advanced instructors have titled their dogs through an AX & AXJ (Excellent Agility & Excellent Agility Jumpers, the highest level of AKC excluding the Championship) and many are working on their MACH (Master Agility Championship). Our Intructors train a wide range of dogs including breeds from every AKC Group. All are actively training and competing with their own dogs, keeping abreast of current training techniques and advances in this rapidly growing sport. Questions/Comments?
